2011 Atlanta PPD Performers

We are so happy to have our headlining band Emerald Rose returning to Atlanta Pagan Pride Day!  We also will be joined by recording artist Celia from Santa Fe, NM.  The Cross Cultural Dance Company will be performing and Sarah Salamander from The Tara Dance Sangha of Atlanta will be sharing a Tara dance practice.

2011 Date Announcement Delay

I had hoped to have a date set by January 1st, but I will be holding off as long as possible so that we can adjust to the schedule of Atlanta Gay Pride. From my best understanding, the Atlanta (Gay) Pride Committee will be announcing a date in mid February.

In 2010 the Atlanta (Gay) Pride Committee moved their event from late summer to the second weekend in October, same as us. Since we had set and advertised our 2010 event and reserved a location a few months prior to the announcement of the Gay Pride event, I did not feel that we could move our event date. For 2011 we will do our best to avoid overlap with the main Gay Pride events so that everyone has the opportunity to celebrate proudly at both events.

Welcome to the Atlanta Pagan Pride Day web blog.  The point of this blog is to be able to get information out to Atlanta area pagans as updates occur, while taking some of the stress off of our wonderful web weaver

This is the third year that the Atlanta PPD crew and I have been coordinating this event and I am excited about the possibilities that the 2011 event holds.
